How Arden Renews Our Spaces

How Arden Renews Our Spaces

At Aes Curated, thoughtful design considers the full life of an object: not only how it enters our homes, but whether it was created with a future in mind.

The Arden candle garden was designed with renewal at its core. Refilling is not an accessory or an afterthought, it is a part of its identity, extending its relationship with the space it was chosen to inhabit.

Significance of Renewal

Each renewal allows the refill sculpture to change the garden-scape without complete replacement. The vessel carries forward, while new wax restores its purpose.

It is a small distinction with lasting meaning: knowing what has reached its end, recognizing what remains useful, and caring for an object well enough to let it continue.

How to Renew

1. Cool: After the final burn, allow the vessel and remaining wax to cool completely.

2. Empty: Using a spoon or another blunt tool, gently remove the cooled wax and metal wick tab. Avoid knives or sharp tools.

(optional) Clean: Soften thin residue with heat and wipe it away. Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water, then dry it completely. Never pour wax down a drain.

3. Inspect: Do not reuse a vessel with chips, cracks, or heat damage.

4. Renew: Secure a new pre-waxed wick in the center by gently pressing the metal base onto the bottom of the vessel. The beeswax naturally adhere to the Aes Curated containers and any existing beeswax residue.

5. Refill: Add the compatible Arden refill, keeping the wick straight and the wax leveled.
6. Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch (5 mm) before enjoying the new exclusive garden!
